Privacy Policy
Last updated: February 20, 2025
Overview
muxd is free, open-source software licensed under Apache 2.0. We are committed to protecting your privacy. muxd runs entirely on your machine. We do not operate servers that process, store, or transmit your data.
Data We Collect
None. muxd does not collect telemetry, usage data, analytics, crash reports, or any other information. There are no tracking scripts, cookies, or third-party analytics on this website.
How muxd Works
- muxd runs locally as a single binary on your computer.
- Conversations and sessions are stored in a local SQLite database on your machine.
- API calls to LLM providers (e.g. Anthropic, OpenAI) go directly from your machine to the provider using your own API keys. Batalabs never sees these requests.
- No data passes through Batalabs infrastructure at any point.
Third-Party Services
When you use muxd with an LLM provider, your prompts and code are sent directly to that provider under their terms and privacy policy. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any provider you connect to muxd.
This Website
This website (muxd.sh) is a static site hosted on Vercel. We do not use cookies, analytics, or tracking of any kind. Vercel may collect standard web server logs (IP address, user agent) as part of their hosting infrastructure.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page with a new date. Since muxd collects no data, meaningful changes are unlikely.
